Olof Palme fue primer ministro de Suecia (1969-1976 y 1982-1986). El 28 de febrero de 1986 fue asesinado a tiros en plena calle. Se encontraba paseando por Estocolmo con su esposa, sin protección policial. Su esposa también resultó herida, pero sobrevivió. En muchas ciudades hay calles, plazas y edificios que llevan su nombre en su memoria.►►

Olof Palme war schwedischer Ministerpräsident von (1969–1976 und 1982–1986). Am 28. Februar 1986 wurde er auf offener Straße erschossen. Er war ohne Polizeischutz allein mit seiner Frau zu Fuß in Stockholm unterwegs. Seine Frau wurde auch verletzt, überlebte aber. In vielen Städten gibt es zu seinem Gedenken Staßen, Plätze und Gebäude die nach ihm benannt wurden.►►

Olof Palme was Prime Minister of Sweden from 1969 to 1976 and from 1982 to 1986. On 28 February 1986, he was shot dead in the street. He was walking alone with his wife in Stockholm without police protection. His wife was also injured but survived. In many cities, streets, squares and buildings have been named after him in his memory.
